Leon King shares strong message on Rangers future amid transfer development
Rangers defender Leon King has sent a strong message about his long-term future at Ibrox.
Fabrizio Romano reported on 11 October that a host of clubs including Manchester United, Leeds and Newcastle are vying for the youngster’s signature.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst already suggested that he has not received any offer for the 18-year-old who has got a bright future ahead of him.

King has made it clear that he is only doing his job at the moment, and wants to stay at the club for a long time.
“I just concentrate on this club and doing my job,” said King, when asked about transfer rumours, as relayed by Rangers Review.
“I see this as the start after getting into the team at such a young age. You see other young boys getting their chance as well.”
Fantastic
King is a terrific young talent who is already a part of Van Bronckhorst’s first team set-up.
The youngster, however, finds himself in a peculiar situation at the moment. After impressing heavily in a few games, he was expected to get more games this term.
However, he could now feature heavily in the first team for the next few months with the Bears short of options at the back at the moment.
The injury to Conor Goldson and John Souttar means, King should be expected to play regularly alongside Ben Davies or James Sands.

He started the game against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership and did really well.
Romano is usually very reliable with transfers, so we can assume that clubs in England will continue to track his progress.
The Bears shouldn’t be under any kind of pressure to sell him at the moment. Based on what he said, it doesn’t look like he wants to leave the club either.
In other Rangers news, an official partner of the Gers has called on the board to sack van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson.
