Alfredo Morelos to start as Giovanni van Bronckhorst wields axe – Rangers predicted XI v Dundee
Rangers are likely to heavily rotate their team for the Scottish League Cup clash with Dundee on Wednesday night as Giovanni van Bronckhorst looks to rest players.
The Gers claimed a big win at the weekend when they beat Motherwell 2-1 thanks to goals from Malik Tillman and John Lundstram, but are now set for their sixth game of a hectic month.
Rangers got to this round by beating Queen of the South 3-1 back in August with a lot of rotation in their team, and the boss is likely to do that again ahead of the weekend clash with Livingston in the SPFL.

In goal Allan McGregor seems to have won his place back as the number one keeper at the club, meaning McLaughlin should return to the team for this game in the cup.
In defence there are very few options in the middle of the pitch, so Ben Davies and Leon King should continue their partnership at the heart of the team but there could and should be changes at full-back.
Adam Devine was good in the first game against Queen of the South after covering for James Tavernier and with the skipper in desperate need of a break, he should come back into the fold again.
On the left it’s the rarely-seen summer signing Yilmaz who should get the nod, with Borna Barisic struggling for form and the Turkish defender looking to get his foot in the door to the starting lineup.
The boss is likely to go for a bit of experience in the middle of the pitch, allowing Lundstram to be rested and with Glen Kamara struggling for fitness it should be Steven Davis and Ryan Jack forming a partnership.
Further forward in attack there are plenty of options for Van Bronckhorst, but one major decision will be whether or not Ryan Kent continues in his role on the left wing.

The 25 year old has been struggling for form and could be taken out of the spotlight, allowing Welsh summer signing Rabbi Matondo to stake a claim for his spot in his favoured position.
On the right, Scott Wright is likely to claim a starting spot having failed to make an impact in recent substitute appearances, while the experienced Scott Arfield should start in the number ten role to continue his good form.
Up front Antonio Colak is likely to be rested, meaning Colombian Alfredo Morelos could get a rare start this season.
Kemar Roofe is also fit and in the squad again, so should come off the bench to get some minutes as it’s likely to be too early to start a game.
