Rangers must pull managerial trigger as Michael Beale eyed by Wolves
Rangers might have beaten Motherwell on Sunday (16 October) but there was no release of pressure on Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The Light Blues manager is still very much on the edge after a horrid run of form in the Champions League has brought their Premiership campaign down with lacklustre performances.
Despite that, they are still only two points off league leaders Celtic at the moment and the title is still very much in their own hands with three more games against the Hoops to come.

If Rangers do choose to sack van Bronckhorst due to poor results and performances, the Ibrox chiefs are thought to have former assistant manager Michael Beale on their radar, as reported by Alan Nixon.
The now Queens Park Rangers manager was Steven Gerrard’s number two in Glasgow but left his side at Aston Villa to take his own path in management.
The impressive start to life in the Championship has sparked interest from other areas in him, though, as English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested in taking him as their new manager, according to The Sun.

Wolves won’t be slow to appoint a new manager after sacking Bruno Lage and if they do take the next step with Beale, then Rangers have to pull their own trigger and get their man before it’s too late.
He already knows many of the players in the squad at Auchenhowie and how the club works on a day-to-day basis which would be one less hurdle for the new manager to negotiate.
It could be seen as a risk to sack van Bronckhorst to get Beale in but if things aren’t showing any signs of improvement, which they aren’t right now, then there is no point in hanging around for something to miraculously change.
In other Rangers news, Jordan Campbell of The Athletic thinks there are only four players that van Bronckhorst can guarantee will start every single game.
