Rangers must make a move for Michael Beale if they sack Giovanni Van Bronckhorst
Rangers must make a move Queens Park Rangers manager and the former Ibrox coach Michael Beale as is high on their list of potential Giovanni van Bronckhort replacements, according to Alan Nixon.
The Dutch boss’ time at Ibrox is starting to come under fire after a humiliating UEFA Champions League defeat to Liverpool and a lacklustre outing against Motherwell on Sunday.
Nixon reports that Beale is high on the priority list for the Gers should they sack Van Bronckhorst, a switch that would see the coach make a move back to Ibrox, and they must make a move for him quickly.

Nixon, speaking on his official Patreon, claims that Steven Gerrard’s former number two could be in line with a return to Ibrox, should Van Bronckhorst be relieved of his duties.
Nevertheless, the journalist claimed that Beale is very happy at Loftus Road, but it may be tough for him to turn down the big job at Ibrox.
The 42-year-old moved to Aston Villa with Gerrard and has since taken on the role of head coach at Queens Park Rangers, they are currently flourishing in the Championship.

Good shout.
If Van Bronckhorst is to leave Ibrox, the club could do a lot worse than appointing Beale as head coach, he knows the team inside out already.
The tactical guru has been doing a great job at QPR and their current Premier League promotion push may play a part in his decision to leave the Championship club.
Beale has enjoyed spells at Sau Paulo and Rangers and would bring a wealth of diverse experience with him back to Ibrox.
He’s a man in demand, however, with Wolves also being linked to his name in taking over the reins at Molineux, Gers would have to act fast.
Some may argue that the managerial role at Gers would be too soon for Beale and that he needs more first-team head coaching experience before taking on the tricky role.
And they may be right, but at the moment Rangers look out of ideas under Van Bronckhorst and a change in personnel whoever it may be, a move for Beale would be a wise decision.
In other Rangers news, an official partner of the Gers has called on the board to sack van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson.
