Andy Walker blasts ‘dreadful’ Malik Tillman after what he saw Rangers ace do v Motherwell
Andy Walker slammed Malik Tillman for wasting a huge chance to score for Rangers in the opening minutes of their 2-1 win Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday.
After some good play by Leon King, Ryan Kent and Borna Barisic, 20-year-old Tillman found himself inside the penalty area with loads of time to get a shot off at goal.
He set himself up nicely before blazing a curling effort high and wide of the goal.

Ex-Celtic striker Walker was less than impressed by the on-loan Bayern Munich player.
“He’s got to hit the target,” said Walker on Sky Sports Main Event on Sunday (16 October, 12:07pm).
“It’s a wonderful diagonal ball from Leon King, excellent control here from [Ryan] Kent and when you see Tillman and the position he takes up, this is absolutely what you want inside the box.
“[He’s got] yards of space, really good first-touch – dreadful second touch.
“His attempt at goal is nowhere near it.
“It’s a big chance.”

Ate his words?
Tillman did waste that chance in the first half but he didn’t fluff his lines after the break when he scored a wonderful solo goal to put the Gers 1-0 up.
Motherwell’s defending was rancid for that goal.
Tillman picked up the ball on the halfway line and barely had to change direction as he simply ran towards the goal.
His finish was very good but other than that moment, it was a poor display by Tillman.
He was wasteful, greedy and sloppy.
Tillman’s goal shouldn’t negate the fact that he had a bad performance, as did all the other attacking players at Fir Park as Rangers should have been winning that game far easier than they did.
We’ve got no chance of winning the Scottish Premiership title if we’re going to struggle against Motherwell.
Celtic are dismantling the likes of Hibernian and we need to take notice of that.
In other Rangers news, an official partner of the Gers has called on the board to sack van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson.
