Rangers: Ryan Kent could get ‘really good proposals’ in January – Dean Jones
Ryan Kent could receive offers from abroad to leave Rangers in January with his contract nearing its end, according to Dean Jones.
The 25-year-old has been a mainstay of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Light Blues side this season but there have been no obvious advancements in talks between him and the club.
His current deal comes to an end once the season is finished which could mean clubs may approach to sign him for free as early as the January window.

“I remember there was a couple of good clubs in Germany that I was told were interested in signing him,” former Eurosport journalist Jones said to Give Me Sport.
“So, you would imagine he’s going to get some really good proposals in the coming months as we get towards January.”
Kent signed for Rangers in 2019 in a £7.5million deal from Liverpool, the Bears’ opponents in the Champions League on Wednesday (12 October) with the Englishman likely to be involved in the team.
Hold on
For the sake of the Rangers team right now, they absolutely cannot let Kent leave the club and especially for nothing given how much he could earn them in a transfer.
If he is unwilling to sign a new deal, then Ross Wilson has to work his magic and sell him in January to whoever wants him there and then because he would be wasted staying another six months and going for free.

Rabbi Matondo is an equally potent attacker who can dominate full-backs from the left flank and there is enough cover in the shape of Fashion Sakala and Scott Wright among others to cope until the summer.
Equally, a big transfer fee in January may be enough to see van Bronckhorst move into the transfer market himself and hopefully sign someone better than Amad Diallo, who was the headline purchase of last winter.
Alfredo Morelos is another in that boat but one at a time for the Dutchman for now.
In other Rangers news, Ibrox icon Arthur Numan has put his confidence behind this Gers talent to be the match-winner away at Liverpool.
