Arsenal scout Rangers sensation Jack Wylie on multiple occasions

Arsenal have reportedly scouted Rangers sensation Jack Wylie on numerous occasions over the course of the last few months.

According to the Daily Record, the Gunners even sent their chief youth scout Lee Herron to Spain to track the talented 15-year-old as he featured for Scotland’s Under-16s in a friendly clash with Denmark in September.

It’s understood that if Arsenal follow up with their interest, Gers would be compelled to sell the full-back as they did with Rory Wilson to Aston Villa.

Hope he stays

Rangers have a quality pool of talented youngsters across different age groups and their main problem is to retain their services.

Youngsters often prefer moving south of the border and joining Premier League clubs even though their chances of first-team football are pushed further down the line.

Wylie would certainly like to play as much as possible and if Rangers can show him the path to the first team, they may be able to retain his services.

From what we’ve read of him, he does seem to be a future Scotland international as that’s how talented he is and it’s no surprise that clubs like Arsenal are keen on signing him.

They’re currently at the top of the Premier League and have one of the best scouting networks in the league.

Thus far, we’re unsure as to whether or not the 15-year-old would want the move, but the chances of him fancying a move to London are pretty high.

In other Rangers news, the club now had a record-breaking striker on trial at Ibrox and he’s gone on to make headlines in the United Kingdom.
