Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy mock Rangers fan live on talkSPORT as Jurgen Klopp sack prediction made

Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy couldn’t believe it when a Rangers fan predicted they’ll beat Liverpool next week at Ibrox and Jurgen Klopp will be sacked.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men are as good as out of the Champions League after losing 2-0 at Anfield on Tuesday but they’ll have the chance to restore some pride at Ibrox on 12 October.

Liverpool’s form hasn’t been great this season and they needed two set-pieces to beat the Gers on Merseyside.

Rangers

They’re upcoming fixtures are tough too, and that’s led to a Rangers fan calling talkSPORT to tell O’Hara and Cundy that Klopp’s time at Liverpool is coming to an end.

“I’m telling you right now, as a Liverpool fan I’d be really, really worried that Thursday next week, you can call me back and say, ‘we heard it from Mal first’, because Klopp will be out of the door,” said Mal the Rangers fan on talkSPORT on Tuesday night (4 October, 10:22pm), as shown on YouTube.

“I’m being serious, he will be out that door.

“They’re going to lose against Arsenal, they’re going to lose against Rangers at Ibrox next week, then they’re home to Man City.”

Cundy interrupted to say: “Tell you what, Mal. That’s a hell of a crystal ball you’ve got there, mate.”

After laughing, O’Hara asked if he reckons Liverpool will lose three on the bounce, to which Mal replied: “I tell you know, I’m going to put the lottery on because Klopp’s out of the door.”

Get real

Why’s this Rangers fan calling up talkSPORT to talk about Klopp’s future at Liverpool?

Sure, the Reds have had a poor start to the season and they do have some tough fixtures on the immediate horizon.

But we really doubt we’ll beat them at Ibrox next week.

Without Allan McGregor, we’d have been humiliated yet again on Tuesday night, having already lost 4-0 and 3-0 at the hands of Ajax and Napoli respectively.

Rangers are completely out of their depth at this level as it stands and we cannot keep pointing back to our performances in the Europa League last season because it’s becoming increasingly apparent that was a one-off run.

Rangers’ squad is nowhere near the level it should be at because we’ve had years of failure in the recruitment department.

Why is it that a 40-year-old goalkeeper is still performing better than anyone else? Why is it that McGregor wasn’t even meant to be the starting goalkeeper this season for van Bronckhorst?

We doubt we’ll beat them next week and even if we did, is that enough for Liverpool to sack one of their best ever managers?

In other Rangers news, the Gers are in talks with a player who’s settled in Glasgow.
