Kenny Miller hints Ryan Kent could leave Rangers at end of the season live on BT Sport
Rangers hero Kenny Miller has hinted that Ryan Kent could leave the club at the end of the season while working as a pundit live on BT Sport.
The Gers winger is out of contract at the end of the current season and his future is up in the air currently, but he was named in the starting lineup for the clash with Liverpool on Tuesday night.
Speaking pre-game on BT Sport [4 October, 7:08pm], Miller admitted that the 25-year-old could look to leave for a bigger stage at the end of his contract and said the game would act as the perfect shop window for him to show he can do it.

“It might not be about what Liverpool’s missing,” he said. “It will be a special night for him there’s no doubt about it. This will be his first first-team game at Anfield as well despite spending a lot of time at Liverpool.
“What it is for him is an opportunity to show how good a player he is on the best stage there is in club football. He’s in the Champions League at this venue, against one of the best teams in the world in Liverpool, albeit they’re not playing particularly well at the moment.
“But if Ryan Kent wants to get to this level, or the Premier League or somewhere else at the end of the season when he’s out of contract, these are the nights that he can perform.
“One thing’s for sure is that he’s capable. Every Rangers fans that’s in that area over our right shoulder will be hoping he can turn up and perform.”
Amazing
Kent is a sensational winger and one of the best that Rangers have had in recent memory, with his electric pace and creativity oozing from his boots.

As an English player it’s no surprise that he probably has one eye on returning to the Premier League at some point, especially after his failed spell at Anfield and with his contract running down he may never get a better opportunity.
But he should think carefully about what Rangers and Ibrox have provided him with, as he’s won trophies and played in a European final while also making it to the Champions League to play on the biggest stage.
As it stands he isn’t good enough for one of the big sides in England and therefore it’s unlikely that he would reach these heights again should he leave.
He’s adored in Glasgow, is a key member of the side and entering his prime years. Leaving Rangers where he is guaranteed to compete for honours every year and play at the highest level would be bizarre to say the least, but Miller is spot on.
If he’s going to go, he needs to prove it on the biggest stage first and this group stage is the best chance to do it.
