Rangers fans displayed brilliant banner in win v Hearts
Rangers fans paid brilliant tribute to their former skipper Lee Wallace who decided to retire from professional football this week.
The away fans came up with a fantastic message, hoisting a banner at Tynecastle on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership clash against Hearts.
The Bears won 4-0 against last season’s Scottish Cup finalist, with goals coming from Antonio Colak, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.
Joshua Barrie of Rangers Review wrote on Twitter: “The away support unveil a banner saying “Lee Wallace, for the badge, not the money”.
Big win
Wallace joined the Gers from Hearts in 2011. He went on to become a club hero and made 191 appearances for the Ibrox club.
Mark Warburton made him the club captain. He later joined Queens Park Rangers.
The Bears fans have remembered him for his contribution to the club and they displayed a brilliant message that Wallace would love to see.

It seems after a mini-crisis, the Gers are starting to hit the gears. The 4-0 win over Hearts will give them the confidence required to face Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League.
Van Bronckhorst will be really pleased that Antonio Colak has proved to be a huge success. The summer signing has scored a brace, and he has taken his goal tally to 10 already.
The Dutchman will be very happy to see Alfredo Morelos getting on the scoresheet again. The Colombian has struggled with fitness this season, and his return to form is a massive boost for the club.
In other Rangers news, one player could be hoping for only his second start of the season against Hearts this weekend
