Rangers confirm starting XI for Scottish Premiership clash v Hearts
Rangers have confirmed their starting XI for the match against Hearts on Saturday afternoon, with Ben Davies getting his second ever start for the club.
The Gers are coming into the match knowing that a win will take them to the top of the league table, at least for the time being ahead of Celtic.
As announced on Twitter, Giovanni van Bronckhorst has named a strong lineup featuring striker Antonio Colak whereas Alfredo Morelos starts on the bench.
Important game
Rangers entered the season as one of the hopefuls of securing the league title but a heavy defeat against leaders Celtic on 3rd September made it look like a long road ahead.
However, with the Hoops suffering a surprise defeat in their previous fixture against St. Mirren and with the Gers winning in their last outing against Dundee United, it gave the 2020/21 winners a big ray of hope that all is not lost in the title race.

It is now the responsibility of the manager Van Bronckhorst to ensure that his players will understand the significance of the match on Saturday and grab the opportunity with both hands.
Looking at the overall record of head-to-head fixtures of the teams, Rangers have a lot to be optimistic about as they have defeated Hearts 40 times in the 60 meetings in the league competition with just nine defeats in the process whereas 11 matches ended as a draw.
In other Rangers news, one player could be hoping for only his second start of the season against Hearts this weekend
