Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos takes to Instagram to issue passionate speech
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has endured a tough start to the 2022-23 season but he is determined to come back and perform.
The Colombian has been forced to watch on from the bench for most of the games this season as he started his rehabilitation from injury and tried to find his form again.
He has been given the chance to start on occasions, most notably against Napoli in the Champions League, but Antonio Colak has been the main man for the majority of games so far.
Frustrated by his struggle to find any momentum at Ibrox, Morelos took to Instagram to issue a passionate and defiant message to Rangers fans everywhere.
“I will go against everyone who think I won’t make it, even against myself if I ever doubt it,” he said along with an image of him in his Light Blues kit against Napoli.

This isn’t the first time that the Colombian has made a big song and dance about things on social media but Giovanni van Bronckhorst and the supporters need to see it on the pitch now.
Colak’s start to life at the club has been exceptional and it will be very tough for him to displace him in the starting lineup without some significant substitute appearances.
He almost has to be the match-winner in two or three games to even have a shout of usurping the 29-year-old, who himself provided the two goals necessary to beat Dundee United on his birthday on Saturday.
There is always a possibility that van Bronckhorst changes up his tactics to include two strikers with the current system not producing the best football Rangers can offer.
That might be the only chance Morelos has to break back into the team right now because Colak is showing no signs of slowing down in front of goal.
In other Rangers news, there is another pressing issue that van Bronckhorst has to find a way to solve and maybe the formation change could do it.
