Official club partner blasts UEFA for decision to not allow away fans for Rangers vs Napoli
Heart & Hand podcast have blasted UEFA on social media after their decision not to allow away fans in the games between Rangers and Napoli.
The Gers have seen their Champions League clash against the Serie A giants postponed by 24 hours due to policing issues following The Queen’s death, and this has seen UEFA tell away fans not to travel for the game at Ibrox.
But due to “fairness” they have also told Rangers fans to stay away from the reverse fixture next month, and official club partner Heart & Hand podcast let rip on their social media account at the bosses making the decision for not caring about the fans.
“UEFA once again showing that when it [comes] to the people’s game, the one thing they expressly don’t care about is the people,” they tweeted.
Fans had already bought tickets and flights to Naples and will now be out of pocket due to this decision which has been made on short notice, through no fault of their own.
Shocking
Once again, it’s the fans who are made a mockery of by the footballing higher ups when a decision has to be made.
Policing issues are obviously out of the club’s control, especially in such extenuating circumstances as the Queen dying, but there’s no reason to punish Rangers fans for it.

Yes it’s unfortunate that Napoli fans can’t travel over on this instance, but their club and UEFA should find a way to compensate them rather than punish them for it.
Then banning us from going over to Naples when there is no good reason to is absolute nonsense and means that fans miss out on supporting their team in an elite competition while also losing out on money for them and the club.
It’s a poor decision and one that simply didn’t need to be made, especially at this time, and it’s pathetic from UEFA. Hopefully the club’s can find some sort of compromise to fix this with time to spare.
