Official club partner blasts ‘complete mess’ as Rangers thumped 4-0 by Ajax
Official club partner Four Lads Had A Dream have blasted Rangers for their performance in the 4-0 defeat to Ajax, brandishing it a “complete mess”.
Rangers were 3-0 down at half-time for a second consecutive game and fell to back-to-back 4-0 losses after goals from Edson Alvarez, Steven Berghuis, Mohammed Kudus and Steven Bergwijn.
In a game that saw Rangers dominated from start to finish and fail to create any real clear cut chances, the podcast took to their official Twitter account to make their feelings known on an “unforgivable” performance.

“Better teams than this have had tough nights for our club,” they said. “Lack of effort, heart, desire and failure to do the basics is absolutely unforgivable, chucked it.
“GvB, regardless if you accept it, is under real pressure and he’s been hung out to dry.
“Deserve all the criticism they get.
“That just about sums it up.
“Gio will carry the can, others notably including Ross Wilson should most certainly not be missed and if it does cost Gio his job then it should cost him it also.
“No heart, no desire, no effort and schoolboy mistakes.
“A complete mess.”

Pathetic
There’s absolutely nothing that anyone can say to defend that shocking performance and they deserve everything that comes from it.
After getting pummelled by Celtic at the weekend, you’d have thought that the players would have something to prove to themselves and show the fans why they deserve to wear the shirt.
But if anything they did the complete opposite in this game and proved why they’re not good enough right now to be considered a top side and that some of the players simply aren’t good enough to play regularly for this side.
The manager has to take some blame too because he’s got it wrong tactically twice in a row in huge games, but there is an argument that this squad is weaker than it was last year and that’s not acceptable either.
Something needs to change and there is still belief that Van Bronckhorst is the man to change it, but it needs to happen fast.
