Chris Sutton reacts instantly as Celtic beat Rangers 4-0 in Old Firm

Chris Sutton has shared his instant reaction to Rangers being smashed 4-0 by Celtic in the first Old Firm of the Scottish Premiership season.

It was an afternoon to forget for the Bears as Liel Abada scored twice with Jota and Ross Turnbull adding to the woes of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Sutton, of course, couldn’t help himself and took aim at Rangers instantly as soon as the fourth goal went in to only make it even more embarrassing.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Sutton shared his instant reaction to the embarrassing scenes at Parkhead from those in blue yet again.

“Demolition Derby 2,” he wrote.

Shocking.

Could this afternoon have been any worst?

Every last player in a blue shirt was simply embarrassing in every last department and were bullied from the first whistle to the last, even our most experienced options.

Connor Goldson and James Tavernier arguing and blaming each other before Celtic took quick throwing and free-kicks to score summed it all up.

We have to react to this instantly and bounce back for the Champions League, or it could be even more embarrassing against bigger and better opposition.

Van Bronckhorst will be scratching his head and won’t even want to look his players in the face after this one, but he’ll have to dust them down quickly.

It would be no surprise to see the squad back in training at Auchenhowie tomorrow, with none of them deserving a day off after that, as they can’t be tired.

The quicker we forget about this, the better.
