Rangers players might be ‘fed up’ with Alfredo Morelos antics – Kenny Dalglish
Alfredo Morelos has never been too far away from the headlines during his time at Rangers and Sir Kenny Dalglish thinks it could cause problems.
The Colombian international has already made his return from injury, scored, been sent off away at Hibernian and then been excluded from the squad this season after just one month of action.
As a result of his exclusion by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, he missed the Light Blues’ 1-0 win away at PSV Eindhoven that secured their passage to the Champions League group stages and Dalglish thinks the other players in the dressing room have had enough.

“The senior players in the Rangers squad were fully in favour of their manager’s call,” the former Scotland international said in his Sunday Post column.
“I’m not privy to what was going on behind the dressing-room door, but I would imagine that some of the players might have been getting fed up with Alfredo’s antics.
“When that happens, the manager needs to take action. Otherwise, it snowballs and can end up beyond his control. The manager can’t allow disruption and needs to address a problem to save himself. He needs to be on the front foot and to be decisive.”
Unique
The obvious questions will arise every time Morelos does something like this or is the talk of the town (which seems to be more often than not) but everyone has to remember that every person is unique.

Antonio Colak’s understated demeanour and subsequent good start to the season might have impacted on Morelos who would have assumed he would be straight back to being the main man once he was fully fit.
Similarly to Eric Cantona back in the day, though, the 25-year-old almost worsens his performance if he isn’t getting himself into trouble and rattling opposition defenders or the media.
Maybe van Bronckhorst has made this move to fire him and the media up to then start extracting the best out of him once again which has not been seen for some time at Ibrox.
Colak will be tough to bump out of the team given his prolific run of form right now but the more you anger the Colombian, the better he ends up playing.
In other Rangers news, Morelos was not shy to celebrate his teammates’ success on Twitter after the historic win in Eindhoven on Wednesday.
