TalkSport pundit heaps praise on Rangers big game record
Rangers have been praised by talkSPORT host Jason Cundy for their impressive record in big European games after their win against PSV on Wednesday night.
The Gers defied the odds in Holland to defeat the Dutch giants 1-0 and qualify for the group stage of the Champions League.
Ex-Chelsea player Cundy reacted to the momentous victory by heaping praise on the Scottish club and bringing attention to their recent record in big European games.
He said: “For the last 18 months to two years, in particular their run to the Europa League final last year.
“What is it about Rangers, that in the massive games they always turn up?
“They are an unbelievable team and something is going on there.”

The Gers have been on a sensational run in Europe in the last two years and their victory over PSV was no different.
They had several games in the Europa League last season where when their backs were against the wall, they still managed to defeat the odds.
A momentous two-legged victory over German giants Borussia Dortmund in February 2022, defeating the Black Yellow 6-2 over the two legs.

They knocked out Red Star Belgrade and Braga in the following legs and met RB Leipzig in the semi-final where again they produced the goods to come and victorious.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team have proved time and time again that in Europe they are a different beast, always managing to get the job done.
Their victory over PSV was a huge one for the club, but when you look at it contextually, wasn’t a victory that should shock people.
In other Rangers news, Malik Tillman was phenomenal against PSV.
