Rangers make presence felt at Scottish FA after John Lundstram red card
Rangers have expressed their concern to the FA over the officiating standards in the Scottish Premiership, according to The Athletic.
Referee Willie Collum shocked everyone for sending off Light Blues midfielder John Lundstram for what appeared to be a regulation cynical foul and a yellow card in the 2-2 draw against Hibernian.
The Bears have now appealed the red card and hope to have his two-match suspension rescinded although they won’t get the chance for redemption in the game itself.

Rangers also submitted a formal complaint about Collum in 2019 after his decision to show Daniel Candeias a second yellow against St Mirren which they disagreed with.
The club are expected to highlight a lack of consistency in Collum’s decisions by using examples of similar tackles from other teams and the subsequent yellow cards that were handed out.
Sack him
This has been a problem for many years now and yet the Scottish FA have done nothing about it and it is getting to the point of ridiculous now.
Collum has always seemed to have some kind of agenda against Rangers and even though he is considered among the better officials in the country (somehow) he still can’t put his own heart aside.

A referee should be totally impartial in every game they officiate and it is surely obvious now that Collum can not be that in games where Rangers are involved and something has to be done.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst would not be begrudged if he asked that the Scot no longer referees games that his side are due to play in because this can’t carry on.
Lundstram will surely get his ban lifted upon review and it shouldn’t even take that long to come to that conclusion because it’s not like anyone would agree with Collum’s decision.
In other Rangers news, the suspension in domestic games for Alfredo Morelos could open the door for this teenager to shine after a hat-trick on Saturday.
