Rangers and Celtic face tug of war with Premier League clubs over Cameron Bruce transfer, bid already tabled
Rangers are facing a tug of war with Celtic and Premier League clubs over the signing of 16-year-old starlet Cameron Bruce, according to The Scottish Sun.
The Gers are interested in signing Bruce from Queen of the South to add to their already stacked youth setup, which includes summer signing Zack Lovelace already.
And both Rangers and Celtic have already had a bid rejected for the young left-back, who made his first-team debut in March and signed a two-year professional deal with the club earlier this year.

Rangers want all the young talents and Bruce is regarded as one of the biggest prospects in Scottish football right now.
After losing Rory Wilson to Aston Villa but bringing in Lovelace from Millwall, they know their academy is still very appealing to youngsters and the careers of Alex Lowry and Andy King is a sign to youngsters that there is a pathway to the first-team for them.

It’s also a great way for the club to make money if necessary, but Bruce would no doubt be someone they want to bring into the first-team picture if they were successful in signing him eventually.
But battling against Celtic, the current champions, plus teams from England where the money on offer is almost always more lucrative is a tough ask, even more so when you’re dealing with a club that doesn’t want to sell.
There’s obviously no rush with the player being young and still developing, but it’s one to keep an eye on with so many players chasing him that if a deal gets agreed elsewhere it could force Rangers into action once more.
In other Rangers news, Graeme Souness has told the club to “cash in” on one star man this summer while they can
