Rabbi Matondo shares what Van Bronckhost told Rangers players ahead of PSV Eindhoven clash
Rabbi Matondo has shared that Giovanni van Bronckhorst has told the Rangers players that they need to be ready ahead of their second leg clash against PSV Eindhoven.
The Gers picked up a 2-2 draw in the first leg at Ibrox, and they face a daunting task in the second leg away from home in the Champions League qualifier.
They are heading into this game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Hibernian, and the players need to raise their level of performance in Holland.

“We will all have to be ready,’ said Matondo, as quoted by The Scottish Daily Mail (21 August, page 143).
“Whether you are starting or on the bench, you need to be prepared. The manager has told us we all need to be ready to have another go and that is the mindset. This team has shown in the past that it knows how to handle these occasions.
“I have come here to play as many games as possible. But it’s down to me to be right and give my all every time I get my chance.
“And for the team the incentive is clear — we have a chance and we want to make it through to the Champions League.”
Huge game
Rangers must shake off their disappointment in their last two games and focus for the crucial second leg tie.
Van Bronckhorst is likely to drop Matondo for this game, and bring an experienced player like Ryan Kent into the side. Kent was missing once again for the weekend’s Scottish Premier League clash.
The Dutchman is also likely to start with Alfredo Morelos for this game. The Colombian has been absent for the past couple of games leading to wild speculation on his future once again.

However, Van Bronckhorst probably has kept him as a suprise weapon for this game, where he can be ruthless if he gets going.
Last season, Morelos was outstanding in Germany, where Rangers defeated Borussia Dortmund. Morelos is capable of scoring away from home, and the Gers will need him for this crucial game.
However, if he misses again on the big night, then serious questions will be asked on his future.
In other Rangers news, this Ibrox star has been dubbed as a realistic late summer signing for Aston Villa.
