Ally McCoist in awe of Antonio Colak equaliser for Rangers v PSV Eindhoven
Ally McCoist was in awe of Antonio Colak’s equalising goal in the first half of Rangers’ Champions League qualifier against PSV Eindhoven.
The Croatian stiker tucked home a first-time cross from James Tavernier in the 40th minute after a wonderful passing move from Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.
McCoist was impressed with the response from Rangers after falling behind to Ibrahim Sangaré’s goal.

McCoist said on BT Sport (16 August, 40:00 minutes): “That is absolutely magic, what a response that is from Rangers.
“Beautiful one-touch passing.
“It was a great run from Tavernier and Colak does what he does best.”
Must win tonight
The Gers simply have to ensure that they head into the second leg with a lead against the Eredivisie side.
We’ve seen how hard Ibrox can be for away teams, particularly in the second legs of European ties.
Qualification for the Champions League would allow for the Gers to match Celtic financially, with their Old Firm rivals already set to compete in the group stages of the competition.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side haven’t been as successful on the road in Europe which is why they cannot head into the return leg level or behind.
PSV are a significant step up from their previous fixture against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and the Gers really struggled in the first leg against the Jupiler League side.
The Gers have certainly looked more than a match for the Dutch side in the first half and can certainly hurt the Dutch.
A big second half is a must.
