Borna Barisic to be axed as Ridvan Yilmaz gets debut – Rangers predicted XI vs St Johnstone
Rangers ride their wave from the Champions League win over USG into the weekend when they take on St Johnstone at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
Van Bronckhorst made a few surprise selections in midweek, but the club now look back to the Scottish Premiership clash as they look to continue their 100% start to the season.
But with half an eye on the PSV Eindhoven game on Tuesday, the boss could look to make some changes here once again to give himself the best chance of success.

Despite struggling in Belgium, the boss stuck with Jon McLaughlin as his new number one and that is likely to continue for this game too.
In defence, the team is currently picking itself. Captain James Tavernier continued his brilliant form in front of goal with another contribution in midweek, while Conor Goldson has cemented himself as the first-choice centre back at the club.
Alongside him Van Bronckhorst must choose between summer signing Ben Davies and James Sands, but the American has improved with more regular game time and should get the nod once again.
On the left though there could be change. Borna Barisic has played well but has proven in the past that he can’t be relied upon over the course of a season. That should open the door for summer signing Ridvan Yilmaz to make his full debut.
In midfield John Lundstram is the first name on the team sheet these days and that will continue here, but his partner is likely to be shuffled around once again.
Steven Davis and Scott Arfield have started the last two games, but Finland international Glen Kamara should come back into the side to offer a more dynamic option against relatively weak opposition.
Ahead of them Malik Tillman has been incredibly impressive and should continue on the right hand side of the attack, while Tom Lawrence should occupy the number ten position once again as he searches for his first goal since joining.

Ryan Kent overcame injury to play 90 minutes in midweek and should start once again on the left, with Rabbi Matondo vying for a place in the side too.
Up front Alfredo Morelos has featured in the last two games after five months out with a thigh injury, but Antonio Colak has scored two in two games and the Croatian has earned his starting spot while “El Buffalo” regains full fitness.
Predicted Rangers XI vs St Johnstone: McLaughlin; Tavernier, Goldson, Sands, Yilmaz; Lundstram, Kamara; Tillman, Lawrence, Kent; Colak.
