Rangers will have Alfredo Morelos available for selection on Saturday (06 August) as they welcome Kilmarnock to Ibrox for the latest Scottish Premiership clash.

Heart and Hand have shared that the Bufalo has finally recovered from his long-term injury blow and will be available for some minutes after missing months of action for the Bears.

It will also bring the topic of his future back to the table, with contract talks said to be ongoing with little speculation regarding an exit so far this summer.

Writing on their official Twitter account, the official club partner has shared the news that will no doubt leave everyone delighted making their way to Ibrox tomorrow.

“Alfie in squad tomorrow,” he wrote.

Excellent.

This is desperately needed.

Antonio Colak has been thrown into the deep end due to injuries around him, and not kicking off his career at Ibrox on fire has led to some questions being asked.

Of course, the Croatian needs time to settle in, but Morelos coming back will likely put that fire in his belly more to prove himself and try to keep his spot in the side.

Colak will likely get the nod with Morelos unlikely to start straight away after months away from the action, but he should likely get minutes off the bench ahead of the Union Saint-Gilloise showdown.

This is the last thing that Kilmarnock would have wanted to see upon their return to the big time and a trip to Glasgow, and they will no doubt be fearful.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be managing the Bufalo closely, but we can’t wait to see him back out of the pitch tomorrow, even if it is just for 10 minutes.

Bring it on.
