Sky Sports journalist mocks Rangers transfer update as Celtic complete sale of Boli Bolingoli
Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph has been mocking Rangers on Twitter for their failure to disclose transfer fees being spent on new signings.
On Tuesday (12 July), Joseph reported KV Mechelen have completed the signing of left-back Boli Bolingoli from Celtic and when asked what the fee was, he said that while it was “unconfirmed”, he joked that it was for a “significant undisclosed transfer package”.
Rangers sold Joe Aribo to Southampton on Saturday (9 July) and in the official club statement, it was confirmed that the midfielder left Ibrox for “a significant, undisclosed fee”.
Since Aribo’s exit, the Gers have also signed Connor Young and Rabbi Matondo for undisclosed fees.

It’s no secret that he’s a Celtic fan but pandering towards them in this manner is totally unprofessional and only fans the flames of their ridiculous conspiracy theories.
Clubs barely every disclose their transfer fees. Rangers are no different.
Yet for Celtic fans, that’s a hard concept to grasp because they do almost everything they can to show that the Gers are in financial trouble or that their players aren’t as worth as much as they’re made out in the media.
But it’s all very simple – if you’re not thick and ignorant.
Fabrizio Romano is one of the most reliable names when it comes to transfer news and we think it’s fair to assume that he doesn’t sit at home singing either Follow Follow or A Grand Old Team.
He reported on Twitter on Saturday that Aribo’s left Ibrox for an up-front fee of £6million with the deal rising to £10million in add-ons.
Now, for a club in Scotland, £10million is a significant sum of money especially when that player cosy £300,000 just a few years earlier.
We know that more Celtic fans probably read this page than Rangers fans – we know what you’re like.
Hopefully that rather simple summary isn’t too complicated for you.
In other Rangers news, this Gers star has been offered to two big clubs in Europe with a £14.8million fee being mooted.
