Rangers reach 'total agreement' for PAOK striker Antonio Colak, announcement soon

Rangers and PAOK have reached a total agreement for striker Antonio Colak and will be announced soon officially, according to journalist Georgios Sideridis.

The light blues have been heavily linked with a move for the Croatian forward in recent weeks, with a fee of around £2m believed to be a sticking point in negotiations between clubs.

However according to the reliable Sideridis, writing on his personal Twitter account, the clubs have now come to a full agreement and the deal to bring him to Ibrox is done.

It’s been a long time coming for Giovanni van Bronckhorst, but it seems like he has finally got his man to boost the front line for the new season.

Alfredo Morelos is still the main man in attack but after entering the final year of his contract, his future is unclear and the club needed to bring in a new forward to boost numbers in the squad.

Colak’s goal record isn’t the most impressive, but he is physically strong and fairly quick and seems to fit in with the style of play that the boss has implemented since joining the club last year.

With Joe Aribo set to leave the club, it seems that money has been put to good use immediately to ensure that the squad is bolstered.

The player is due to undergo a medical soon before an official announcement follows, but finally the club’s business has begun.
