Joe Aribo will reportedly seal his Rangers exit in the next 48 hours and join Premier League side Southampton.
According to the Scottish Sun, the Saints are closing in on a deal which could involve them paying the Ibrox giants £10million in order to secure the services of the Nigeria international.
While Southampton are looking to bring down the valuation of the 23-year-old, Gers are determined to holding out for a fee that totals that including add-ons.
Jim White also tweeted something to a similar extent.
He wrote, “Joe Aribo set to leave RangersFC for SouthamptonFC in 24/48 hours – £10m package.”

Southampton have a billionaire owner in Dragan Salak so can easily afford to pay what Gers want for the player.
Hopefully, the club spend the money on the right players.
In other Rangers news, contract talks with a key player have hit a new impasse with a summer exit now on the cards.
