Antonio Colak move to Rangers will be soon as fan suggests pulling the plug
Rangers are still on track to complete the signing of PAOK forward Antonio Colak, according to Derek Clark.
The reliable journalist has shared that the information he has been told is clearly nothing to worry about, despite the move dragging on much longer than anticipated.
Personal terms and a fee have both been agreed upon, but the Greek club are waiting on their own hunt to sign a replacement before allowing Colak to leave.
Speaking on the Rangers Review’s latest video update on YouTube, Clark responded as one fan suggested that it may soon be time to pull the plug on the move.
“We’re still waiting on Antonio Colak,” he said.
“We’re told that should be completed soon.”
We have to admit that is something that is running very thin right now given the mess-around that PAOK are currently putting us through.
With the training camp now underway in the Algrave, it will surely have been hoped that the Croatian international would have arrived beforehand to start pre-season with the squad.
That hasn’t been the case, and the longer this drags on, the closer we are getting to those Champions League qualifiers at the start of August.
It isn’t our problem that PAOK have been so incredibly unorganised that they will leave themselves with only one available striker, if that was the case, they shouldn’t have accepted our bids.
Now we are left in limbo because of that, but thankfully, this new information as of today, makes it look as though there is nothing to worry about and the fan suggesting we should pull the plug? We’re so glad that isn’t the case.
