Rangers not set to confirm Zak Lovelace transfer in imminent future - Sky Sports

Rangers will not announce the signing of Millwall wonder Zak Lovelace in the imminent future, according to Sky Sports on Thursday (23 June).

It is reported that confidence is high at Ibrox that the young striker will be confirmed as a new Gers player, making the move north of the border this summer.

BBC journalist Fraser Fletcher did report this morning [23 June], that Lovelace has informed Millwall that he will be making the move to Ibrox at the beginning of July.

Writing on their live blog on Thursday afternoon (23 June, 12:15 pm), Sky Sports shared the latest on ins and outs at Ibrox with movement seemingly quiet.

“Rangers are confident of signing teenage Millwall striker Zak Lovelace this summer, although confirmation of his arrival is not imminent,” they wrote.

Ross Wilson appears to be moving quickly to snap up some of the brightest talents available this summer.

Lancelot Pollard is set to make the move to Glasgow from Aberdeen, with Lovelace set to make it two new young arrivals at Auchenhowie.

This could be to replace the outgoing Rory Wilson, who is set to go the other way and join Aston Villa and make everything official at the start of July.

Some people could start to question Wilson though, with no real movement on the front of first-team signings at Ibrox, with many additions needed to push forward.

With serious questions regarding the futures of many of our squad, no new first-team arrivals could start to raise fears that should big-money bids come in, there will be no one ready to step up in that spot.

Although no announcement is imminent, this one looks as good as done.

In other Rangers news, scouts at Ibrox are said to have watched this ‘immense’ powerhouse numerous times ahead of a potential major transfer
