Kenny Miller suggests what Rangers should do with Alfredo Morelos
Kenny Miller has suggested that Alfredo Morelos needs to make a big call on his Rangers future, and it can go both ways.
The Gers icon wrote in his column for The Sunday Mail (19 June, page 70) that the Colombian striker could either stay at the club for years to come or could leave this summer.
Morelos has just a year on his contract and the Bears are highly likely to sell him for a high profit if he moves on.

“But make no mistake, this is going to be a huge summer for my old team-mate,” wrote Miller.
“In fact, it could be a pivotal crossroads in his Rangers career.
“In the last few days, he has been linked with Sevilla. And going into the final year of his contract, that’s not surprising.
“Morelos has a big call to make in the next few months. And he’s in total control of the situation.”
Unlikely
BBC journalist Fraser Fletcher reported on his Twitter account on 17 June that there is high interest in Morelos but as of now there’s no offer on the table.
The Colombian was the Light Blues’ top scorer in the 2021-22 campaign. He has scored over 100 goals for the club, but he missed the end of the season through injury.
Miller is right that Morelos holds all the aces here. If he doesn’t want to sign a new deal, Rangers must sell him at a high profit.

On the other hand, there is also a slim chance that Morelos could decide to stay put.
However, it seems unlikely. Will Morelos be fascinated by the prospect of scoring 200 goals or more for the club? Will he want to become a club legend or play at a bigger league?
He has a big decision to make. The Gers need to have plan B in place in case the Colombian leaves.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
