Rangers should sell Borna Barisic immediately with Trabzonspor keen
Borna Barisic has played more than 150 games for Rangers since his 2018 arrival from Osijek in Croatia but his time could be about to end.
According to Turkish media outlet Fotomac, the Light Blues are keen to sell the 29-year-old with Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super League keen to sign the Croatian international.
Football Scotland reported on 10 June that the Bears would be willing to accept a bid of £4million to allow Barisic to leave Ibrox for good.

Despite the vast number of games he’s played for Rangers over the past five years, though, now is absolutely the time for him to leave and if Trabzonspor do come in and offer the requested price, then we need to snap their hands off before they can say no.
As much as he offers us going forward, he is still only our second-best left-back all things considered as Calvin Bassey would be Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s go-to with Connor Goldson and perhaps John Souttar partnering at centre-half for the 2022-23 campaign.
That leaves Barisic on the bench at best and he won’t fancy that with a World Cup fast approaching in November and his desire to play for Croatia at the tournament against Belgium, Morocco and Canada in Group F.

All of that would normally be enough to see the selling club let him leave but especially when you look back at the most recent Old Firm derby matches in the Scottish Premiership.
Barisic was left on his heels in both games to gift Celtic vital goals on both occasions that could have ended the Gers’ title hopes and making that same mistake twice is unforgivable.
If they really are likely to get nearly £4million for such a defensive liability, then this might be the robbery of the century and we need to get the deal done as soon as possible before the Turks realise it.
In other Rangers news, van Bronckhorst wants to improve his striker situation after an injury-ravaged end to the 2021-22 campaign and could raid Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa to do so.
