Timeline for major Calvin Bassey decision over Rangers future shared
Calvin Bassey is reportedly set to make a decision over his Rangers future once he returns from his international commitments.
According to the Daily Record, clubs in the Bundesliga, Serie A and Premier League are keeping tabs and want to sign him this summer.
The Nigerian’s stance thus far is unclear and there will be some clarity offered on it once his games for his country are finished and he heads for his end of season break.

Hope he stays
Bassey is one of the club’s most wanted players this summer and former manager Steven Gerrard is also eyeing a move for him.
Now at Aston Villa, the ex-Liverpool captain is being backed by their super-rich owners to build a completely new team that can establish themselves as a top half team.
The 22-year-old would undoubtedly be a great fit for them as he has grown leaps and bounds this season to become one of Rangers’ best players.
He will only get better with time so it’s an investment that most clubs will not mind making and even if it doesn’t pay off, he will have some resale value.
Gers fans will be hoping that he stays as he’s managed to be a solid and regular performer as both a left-back as well as a centre-back.
It remains to be seen what his final decision is and Gers fans will surely be awaiting what he opts to do as it could be a summer of change at the club.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
