Rory Wilson accepts ‘life-changing’ contract as Rangers exit set for Aston Villa
Rangers sensation Rory Wilson has accepted a deal that includes “life-changing” money to move to Aston Villa, according to The Athletic.
The online source has reported on their website that a move was initially set for July 1st, but the Bears have not yet agreed a fee, rejecting a guaranteed £300,000 plus add-ons and bonuses.
This now means that the dispute will be resolved by FIFA, something that could lead to Villa only paying the insulting figure of only £112,000 in training costs.

Writing in his latest column for The Athletic, Jordan Campbell shared that this potential move could be disputed at the highest level possible.
“Aston Villa are set to continue their foray into the Scottish youth market by adding 16-year-old Rangers striker Rory Wilson to their ranks,” he wrote.
“But although Wilson has agreed terms with the Premier League side on what represents life-changing money, it has led to a dispute that could potentially have a seismic bearing on how cross-border transfers for Scottish teenagers are conducted.”

Right way to go about it.
We get that this money could change the life of Wilson, but Rangers as a club need to get what they believed they are owed for their young players being poached for next to nothing.
This rule of only paying the training fee may have to change after this, with Steven Gerrard knowing exactly what he is doing to try and get a bargain.
Ross Wilson is no fool, though and will be negotiating hard to get money for the club and move on to a position where it can be reinvested, with the figure wanted believed to be seven figures.
Unfortunately, it looks as though the rules go in Aston Villa’s favour at this stage and it is hard to see an outcome that favours the Bears.
Anything can happen in football, and Villa could still yet come in with an acceptable offer in order to prevent this from going to FIFA – time will tell.
