Rangers set to receive compensation as Rory Wilson set for Aston Villa
Rangers will be reportedly receiving a compensation with Rory Wilson reportedly on the cusp of a move to Aston Villa.
According to The 4th Official, this move was never in doubt as he claimed it was a done deal a few weeks ago.
With Wilson leaving on a free, Gers will be given a compensation for training him, which according to Glasgow Times [June 13], is currently being contested between the two teams.
The 4th Official wrote on Twitter, “Now Fabrizio has confirmed this, let’s be honest, this is a great coup for Gerrard.

This comes after Fabrizio Romano said on Monday that Villa will sign the youngster officially on July 1.

However, this time, they make a very valid point and are definitely due compensation for Wilson as his contract actually runs out at the end of the year.
That is when he turns 17 and Villa are obliged to sign him for nothing at that time.
FIFA will now be intervening to see what the best possible outcome of this deal is but Gers must continue to hold their ground.
