Rangers tipped to lose Calvin Bassey, Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo then face rebuild
Former Rangers midfielder Charlie Miller believes the club faces a rebuild with first team stars likely to depart this summer.
He senses that the club are going to have a number of key gaps to fill and as such hopes the club back Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the transfer market as much as they did former boss Steven Gerrard.
Miller, while talking to Glasgow Live, stated that he is looking forward to the recruitment plans of the Europa League runners-up.

The ex-Gers defender said: “Calvin Bassey is likely to depart with a £25m or £30 million bid. There could be three or four other players who could go.
“Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo, Allan McGregor. It is a bit of a rebuilding job for Giovanni. The club backed Gerrard over the last couple of seasons. Hopefully, they will back Giovanni. Hope he gets his signings right,”
Looking Ahead
Despite just being at the club for more than a half a season, van Bronckhorst has already shown that his aim is to bring silverware to the Ibrox Stadium
After finishing runners-up in the SPFL and the Europa League respectively, the Dutch manager is looking forward to closing the gap on Celtic.

For that, it is important that he keeps creative players in the team like Kent. The 25-year-old scored two goals and provided 11 assists across 24 games in the recently concluded season [Transfermarkt].
Apart from the wing positions, he also has the tendency to occupy the second striker role. His creativity is of major importance for van Bronckhorst and losing out on these players would be the last thing his team needs.
He must prioritize the creative role as Ian Hagi’s injury in January created a huge dent in his team’s performances in the second half of the recently concluded season.
