Rangers: Alfredo Morelos faces potential police fine for noisy party in Colombia
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos could be fined by Colombian police after holding a party at his charity’s headquarters, according to Lavibrante.
The 25-year-old is back in his homeland after the 2021-22 season ended and was hosting a fundraising event for the Alfredo Morelos Foundation which helps underprivileged children in his hometown of Cerete.
But the party went perhaps too far as fireworks were set off and the neighbours nearby called the local police to put a halt to the festivities.

He has been summoned to the local police to explain the goings-on of the evening but doesn’t look likely to face a big fine with the maximum he can be fined for such an incident being £91.50.
Morelos missed the end of the Light Blues’ season through injury as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side won the Scottish Cup and agonisingly lost the Europa League final on penalties.
Party-poopers
Those neighbours that complained to the police about noise at a charity event must be some of the most miserable people alive today.
Morelos is doing fantastic work to help out the next generation of children from his neck of the woods and very few, if any, other people are making the same kind of difference to that community.

Maybe he did go a tad too far with fireworks in what is a fairly built-up area but it’s not like he’s doing this every night, it was a one-off.
I’m sure he won’t be all that bothered by a £91.50 fine given the amount of money he has earned during his career to date and what he could go on to earn in the future.
One thing is for certain, van Bronckhorst will be delighted to see the good his star man is doing on home soil and should he return for the 2022-23 season, he’ll be an instrumental player once again for the Bears.
In other Rangers news, van Bronckhorst is hoping to raid Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa for another striker should anything happen to Morelos.
