Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack could be offered new Ibrox deal
Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack could be set for a new deal at Ibrox, according to a report from The Daily Record.
The report says that “thrashing out a new contract” for Jack will likely be a “priority” for Ross Wilson, and at the same time the club will hope that he can enjoy an injury-free campaign.
The 30-year-old midfielder has a contract at the club till 2023.
Outstanding
Jack missed a chunk of last season (2021-22) with injuries, but he came back strongly in the second half of the campaign.
He was superb in the Europa League for the Gers and scored a thunderbolt in the Scottish Cup final against Hearts at Hampden Park.

Rangers legend Kenny Miller hailed him as “excellent” while speaking on BBC Sportsound on 2 February.
The Dutch boss has made his transfer stance clear by securing deals for Connor Goldson and Steven Davis.
Allan McGregor, another senior player could stay on for another year, while the Gers are likely to retain the services of Jack as well by offering him a new deal.
However, the situation is slightly different for the likes of Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Joe Aribo. They have all one year left on their deals, but Rangers can expect to get a good profit from their potential sales.
The club can then reinvest into the squad, but Van Bronckhorst probably won’t be willing to sell all three of them in one transfer window.
In other Rangers news, contrary to previous reports, this Light Blues icon is yet to open talks with the club over a new deal and he won’t want to take the incentive they are offering either.
