Giovanni van Bronckhorst likely pushing Rangers board to secure new Joe Aribo deal
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is likely pushing the Rangers board to secure a new blockbuster deal for Joe Aribo this summer, according to The Scotsman.
The outlet have reported on their website that the Nigerian is not looking to force an exit from Ibrox with Crystal Palace interested as he enters the final year of his contract.
Should an offer come their way, it is suggested that the Bears would have a big decision to make over Aribo and his future as Ross Wilson tries to work his magic again.

Writing for The Scotsman, Stephen Halliday shared some big names and deals to look out for over the upcoming summer window.
“But with the 25-year-old having just one year remaining on his current contract, the Ibrox club would have a big decision to make if they receive a sizeable offer for him this summer,” he wrote.
“Aribo is highly regarded by Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst who is likely to be pushing the club to try and tie him down on a new deal.”

Get it done.
With only Allan McGregor to sort out in terms of immediate renewals now, all eyes can move on to next summer.
Aribo has been sensational in recent years, and even though that has dropped recently, his goal in the Europa League final was enough of a reminder to everyone.
Wilson will listen to Van Bronckhorst and what he wants within his squad, and the Nigerian will certainly be one of those as he plans for even more silverware next season.
Will a new deal be of interest to the playmaker? He knows that within one year, he could get a move to the English Premier League if it doesn’t happen this summer.
Having said that, he also needs to remember who gave him that chance after his move from Charlton, when that move most likely appeared to be miles away.
This is certainly one to watch, and the Bears will need to open talks imminently to get it sorted.
