Ross Wilson has major decision to make over new Rangers deal for Leon Balogun, may wait until June 13
Ross Wilson is still facing a big call over the future of Rangers defender Leon Balogun in June, according to the Daily Record on Thursday [02 June].
The newspaper have reported on their website that the Ibrox chief may wait until the 13th of June before deciding on whether to finalise a new contract for the Nigerian.
As things stand, Balogun will be leaving Rangers once his contract expires within the next, with talks ongoing.

Things have been complicated even further this week.
John Souttar has finally arrived at the club after signing his pre-contract back in January midway through the 2021-22 Scottish Premiership season.
On top of that, Wilson himself pulled off a masterclass in negotiations by securing the future of Connor Goldson for another four years when he looked destined to leave.
Add in Filip Helander, Calvin Bassey, Leon King and Nikola Katic and Giovanni van Bronckhorst may not be able to find any space for Balogun within his squad.

Options.
With all of those options in the heart of the defence, it is hard to justify this one.
Having said that, Katic and Helander have been dealing with serious injuries over the past couple of years, and cannot be trusted 100% to consistently be available.
Balogun himself has had injury troubles too, so if Calvin Bassey is guaranteed to be playing centrally next season, it may be best for all parties to move on.
If Giovanni van Bronkhorst uses Bassey on the left, though, Balogun could be great back up for both Souttar and Goldson at Ibrox.
It looks like we won’t have long to wait to see what happens, with the answer expected within two weeks.
Wilson may be concentrating on actual signings more after a week of positive contract results, with the final third a real issue as things stand in this squad.
All eyes are on the boardroom.
