Rangers talent Josh McPake set for first-team preseason as clubs line up for him
Rangers winger Josh McPake is due to get the chance to impress Giovanni van Bronckhorst in pre-season according to Football Scotland.
The 20-year-old has made five separate loan moves over the previous three seasons, and could be in line for another one with five clubs looking to take him on next season.
But despite reports that the Gers were ready to rip up his contract a month ago [Football Scotland] he is now set for a reprieve after featuring in bounce games at Ibrox.

Inverness, Raith Rovers and Queens Park are all interested in using him in the Scottish Championship next year, while English sides Carlisle and Stockport are also keen on him.
He has featured for Dundee, Greenock Morton, Harrogate Town, Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers since 2019 and appears to be set to add to that list next season while still being a Light Blues player.
Last chance
It is quite a turnaround in the space of a month to go from the club seeing him as so disappointing they were ready to pay to get rid of him, to a chance to impress the manager as part of the first team.
He will need to show more than he has over his previous loan spells if he is to do that however, but it is a significant opportunity for the young attacker.
The former Scotland youth international has a lot of talent ahead of him in the first team ranks, with Ryan Kent, Fashion Sakala, Scott Wright and Alex Lowry all entrenched.

Ianis Hagi is due back from injury as well, so another temporary move is surely the most likely outcome.
But preseason is a valuable chance to put himself in the manager’s thoughts since the campaign just gone proves that an injury crisis is only ever just round the corner.
Chances of him making a senior impact next term are currently still remote, but he has now been given an opening to increase those chances where recently he looked to have no prospect at all.
In other Rangers news, extra details from a major piece of club news over the last week prove it to be even more of a coup.
