Rangers in pole position to sign Scottish sensation Cameron Cooper
Rangers have reportedly stolen a march on the likes of West Ham and Leicester City for Partick and Scotland starlet Cameron Cooper.
According to the Scottish Sun, Cooper has been earmarked as a replacement for Rory Wilson who appears to be on his way out of the club.
Kai Kennedy and James Maxwell have been readied as makeweights as Gers seem hell-bent on signing the Scotland U-17s ace.

Good move
Beating Premier League clubs to a signing is never easy and it’s something that Rangers should be proud of.
Due to the vast amount of money that’s involved in the English top flight, clubs there can offer at least twice of what even the richest Scottish teams can.
However, Cooper knows that if he wants to make it big in the game, the next step in his career will be earned at Ibrox.
He will not walk into the first team, but he is very highly rated and should he join, Giovanni van Bronckhorst will surely look to work with him.
Pre season is a good opportunity for the academy players to be thrown into the mix with the senior pros and Cooper may learn a few tricks that will help him polish his game.
We’re keen on seeing whether or not Rangers manage to pull this one off but early signs suggest that it could be done and hopefully, Ross Wilson moves quickly to seal the deal.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
