Journalist Alan Nixon has remained coy over Ryan Kent’s Rangers’ future
Sun journalist Alan Nixon has suggested it is “early” days when it comes to Ryan Kent’s Rangers future with the summer transfer window round the corner.
The 25-year-old is entering the final 12 months of his current deal and has been of interest to Premier League clubs.
As reported by 90min [6 May], Wolves, Leeds, Everton and Fulham are all keen on the former Liverpool winger.
Sun Journalist Nixon has remained coy on the Wingers future during his latest Q&A on Twitter.
In response to a question about Kent’s future at Ibrox, Nixon said: “Nothing live now.
“But it’s early.”
Nervous wait at Ibrox
Kent is set to be a free agent next summer and Rangers cannot afford to lose the 25-year-old for free.
Kent has three goals and thirteen assists for the Gers this season and would be a good signing for any mid-table Premier League side.
The Gers will know that they cannot compete financially with top-flight side’s from south of the border in terms of wages.
If Kent won’t sign a new deal, then it would be a wise decision to move the winger on this summer.

The winger was far more prolific in the 2020/21 season scoring 14 goals so maybe a move away from Ibrox would be a good decision.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst could still command a decent fee the winger’s services, with Kent still being relatively young and imensley talented.
If Rangers could recoup a fee of more than £15million for Kent then it’s a route they should go down.
With plenty of high-profile departures set to take place at Ibrox, van Bronckhorst will need to raise some funds to structure his summer rebuild at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
