Jordan Campbell details behind-the-scenes change brought about by van Bronckhorst at Rangers
Rangers players reportedly have a brotherly bond which helped them get through tough times throughout the 2021/22 season.
According to Jordan Campbell, Giovanni van Bronckhorst brought his own methods to Ibrox and kept adapting to get the best from his players.
In recent months, this has even helped the players get closer and that is certainly reflected in the impressive performances on the field of play.

In his Athletic piece, Campbell wrote, “The togetherness of the squad has been clear to see in recent months, described as a “real brotherhood” by a source close to the players.
“That bond helped carry them through a gruelling schedule in which they had to dig deep to reach the Europa League final.
“Many of the friendships extend beyond the pitch, such as Kamara, Joe Aribo and Bassey who usually go for a meal at an Italian restaurant in the city centre the day before a match and went on holiday together after the season.”
Phenomenal
There is nothing worse at a football club than a fractured dressing room and clubs have learnt that lesson the hard way.
It was important that whoever succeed Steven Gerrard would have the job of keeping the players united while also playing an entertaining brand of football.
He did exactly that and took the club on an unlikely run to the Europa League final which they should’ve won but fell short on penalties.
The Dutchman must now be thoroughly backed in January as he’s proven to be the right man for the job.
The squad is now starting to play under his image and this could only mean good things for Rangers as they will look to reclaim their title next season.
Missing out on the Champions League is going to make this significantly tougher but we’re sure that he will manage to succeed if given the tools.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
