Rangers’ striker Alfredo Morelos provides a positive injury update on Instagram
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has provided a positive injury update on his Instagram after missing the culmination of the season with a thigh injury.
The Colombian striker suffered the injury whilst on international duty and underwent surgery at the beginning of April.
However, the talismanic striker has provided a positive update on his fitness in his latest Instagram story.

The 25-year-old posted a video of him completing some strength and conditioning work on Wednesday [25 May] with the message “Cada dia mas fuerte vamos” which translates to “stronger every day, let’s go!”
Oh how he’s been missed
Rangers fans will dread to think how different their season could’ve been if Morelos had been fit for the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Rangers had chances to win the match before the decisive penalty shootout took place.
We have seen the Colombian thrive in big games before and it wouldn’t have been a surprise if he had influenced the match in Seville, had he been fit.

The Gers suffered somewhat of a striker shortage towards the end of the season with Joe Aribo performing well in a makeshift role in the latter stages of the Europa League.
Having a full fit Morelos come back in pre-season would almost be like a new signing for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The Columbian is only 25 and has plenty of years to make to continue making an impact at Ibrox.
It is crucial that van Bronckhorst doesn’t rush Morelos back.
Having a fully fit and firing Morelos for the 2022/23 season could be the difference in Rangers domestic and European hopes.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
