Rangers defender Borna Barisic sends strong message amid exit fears

Rangers defender Borna Barisic has sent a strong defiant message on Instagram that gives a hint about his future plans.

According to Football Scotland, The Gers are willing to sell the defender should a strong offer be tabled.

The Bears are not in a rush to sell him, while the player wants to remain in Glasgow.

Barisic wrote on Instagram: “Two very different feelings in last four days of the season but at the end I’m very happy and proud of our team.

“Congratulations to every player for Saturday 120min Final.

“See you next season everyone and thank you for your support”.

Stay

It’s clear that Barisic is not looking for a move at the moment.

The left-back struggled for consistency and form at the start of the season, and he was dreadful against Celtic at Parkhead.

However, he quickly got back to his best as the season progressed, and Giovanni van Bronckhorst brought the best out of him.

He could be a very good squad player, even if the Dutchman wants to add players in the left-back areas.

Rangers

Barisic is known for his ability to provide fantastic crosses from left flank, and he adds a different dimension to the side.

Having said that, Rangers should always consider the financial side, and if there’s a good offer for him, the club should consider. Barisic can be a bankable asset.

The summer window will be very crucial for the Gers with so many players are on the end of the contracts.

Van Bronckhorst will need to make some tough calls over the future of some of his players, as he embarks on a journey of rebuilding in the summer.

In other Rangers news, the club are “not convinced” by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
