Aaron Ramsey shares emotional farewell message as he leaves Rangers
Aaron Ramsey has posted two brilliant messages on Instagram as he bids farewell to Rangers.
The midfielder joined the Gers in the January transfer window on loan from Juventus, and the move didn’t work out well for him.
He ended up winning the Scottish Cup for the Gers, but also faced the heartbreak of missing the penalty in the Europa League final in Seville.

Ramsey wrote on Instagram: “To the blue sea of Ibrox- I want to thank you all for your overwhelming support through the highs and lows. You are some of the most passionate fans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and playing for. Once a Ranger always a Ranger.”
In another post, he wrote: “A nice way to finish the season especially after the big disappointment Wednesday. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It’s been an incredible few months and I’m proud to be a small part of this clubs rich history. Thank you Rangers.”
Farewell
The 31-year-old is facing an uncertain future at the moment.
He is not in the plans of the Juve boss, but at the same time, the club is struggling to offload him as well because of his high wages.
It seems highly unlikely that the Gers will want him back for another season on loan.
He was injured for most of his loan spell, and only showed his brilliance in patches.
The penalty miss against Frankfurt in the final will be a low point, as some might point it out, but that’s not the case. Even great players have missed from 12 yards out.

Rangers took a gamble on Ramsey in January, but it just didn’t pay off as expected.
Unless, he takes a massive wage cut, it looks almost impossible for the Gers to bring him permanently.
Signing a midfielder will be crucial in the summer. Giovanni van Bronckhorst must look to add one or two creative midfielders in the side in the summer window.
In other Rangers news, the german media has reacted to the Europa League final scenes, branding them a “scandal”.
