‘Don’t know’ – Steven Davis opens up about future with Rangers
Rangers’ veteran midfielder Steven Davis is unsure about his future at the club after his side lost to Eintracht Frankfurt in the final of the Europa League.
The Gers suffered a heartbreaking defeat against the German club on penalties in Seville on Wednesday.
Speaking to BT Sport after the match as quoted by TBR, Davis stayed tight-lipped about his plans for next season and stressed the importance of this weekend’s Scottish Cup Final against Hearts.

“I don’t really know [about my future],” he said. “I don’t want to think about that tonight. We have a massive game on Saturday as well. But we need to get over the disappointment of this [defeat] first.”

Twilight
Davis is in the twilight of his career and he would be hoping to end on a high with a trophy in the Scottish Cup.
His contract with Rangers will end this summer with retirement rumours intensifying in the recent weeks.
The 37-year-old has had limited playing time since Giovanni van Bronckhorst replaced Steven Gerrard at the helm in November last year.
He has made 32 appearances across seven competitions for the Gers this season.
Davis is currently in his second stint for Rangers after making 152 appearances for the club between 2008 and 2012.
He was also part of the last Rangers squad to feature in a European final, back in 2008, when they suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Zenit St Petersburg in Manchester.
Davis, who successfully converted a penalty during the shootout, also became the fifth player in the club’s history to appear in two European finals.
