Simon Jordan shares if Rangers let down fans after Eintracht Frankfurt defeat
Simon Jordan believes that Rangers did not let down the Scottish fans after their loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday night.
Gers went down fighting and only lost the game because of Aaron Ramsey’s penalty miss in the shootout.
It could be argued that the Scottish giants dominated the game and had chances to bury it in regulation time as well as extra time.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (May 19, 10:12), Jordan said, “Aaron Ramsey was one of the most experienced players on the pitch. He was probably the one person you wouldn’t expect to miss a penalty.
“After the game, Lundstram said they let people down and their fans down. They didn’t let anyone down. I think it’s unfair they didn’t win because of pens because of a couple of moments in the game that could have seen them win it.”
Spot on
This was an incredible achievement for the club to even make it to a major European final after how the season started.
With Steven Gerrard leaving, few thought that Rangers would be on the cusp of European glory half a year later.

That’s exactly what happened and Gers were few moments away from sealing the Europa League.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has done a remarkable job in charge of the club and he must be completely backed in the summer transfer window.
This squad is in dire need of some surgery and hopefully, they come back stronger this weekend for the Scottish Cup final.
A loss in that game would mean that the club will end the season trophyless and the fans and players clearly would not want that.
In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
