Stan Collymore shares Frankfurt fans instigating trouble to end any Rangers agenda in Seville

Stan Collymore has been sent “overwhelming” evidence that Frankfurt Ultras were instigating trouble in Seville over the past 24 hours, rather than any Rangers fans.

Responding to a Celtic fan joking that all Bears are “angels”, Collymore hit back and insisted that this footage can end any agendas that people may have from the outside looking in.

Rangers take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final on Wednesday evening, and on the most, fans have been coming together until Tuesday night when the trouble started.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Collymore dropped a string of videos to stop anyone from pointing the finger at those in blue across the Mediterranean.

“Overwhelming evidence that Frankfurt Ultras were instigating trouble last night in Seville,” he wrote.

“I asked a well respected Spanish journalist to send me footage of any trouble so that people can make their own mind up, rather than push agendas.

“I’ve been sent 10 videos. All have the same Frankfurt Ultras are the centre. Every one.”

Trouble.

It looks as though these fans have ruined it for everyone after a peaceful start to the week.

All the footage we have seen prior to this have been of fans of the two clubs coming together to celebrate their achievements, drink together and primarily just have a good time.

That all changed on Tuesday evening [17 May], with the police having to be called out in force and arrests being made after the Germans started all of this.

You can clearly see in the footage above that this was organised, and they were scouring the streets for just about anybody to attack just becuase of the team they support.

The so-called Frankfurt Ultras caused trouble in Spain when taking on Barcelona, and even in London against West Ham, so this was to be expected and it is embarrassing behaviour.

Hopefully, the spotlight can go back onto the two clubs today with the final only hours away.
