Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos spotted among fans in Seville
Rangers have the chance to make history on Wednesday (18 May) when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final in Seville.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst could have been looking at a selection nightmare at striker but Kemar Roofe’s return to injury means he does have a recognised number nine to pick if he wishes to.
Colombian top scorer Alfredo Morelos would be his first choice but the 25-year-old has been out for some time and won’t play again this season so he’s joined the supporters.
As shared on Twitter by Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, Morelos was pictured walking the streets of the Andalusian capital on the morning of the big game, surrounded by Light Blues fans looking to get their photo opportunities.
The 25-year-old is seen strolling comfortably with his thumb in the air, donning a Dolce and Gabbana shirt with jeans which is the last thing van Bronckhorst or fans would want him to be wearing for a cup final if he was fit to play.
Hero
Can Morelos do anything wrong? Not only is he a lethal finisher who has scored countless crucial goals for the Gers over the years but now he’s become a supporter for the day and he’s fully embracing it.
The boss might not want him to be in the middle of the celebrations should Rangers score or even win at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan through fear of him getting injured even more by the tidal wave of Glaswegian fans.

With his contract needing next summer, some believe that he could have played his last game at Ibrox for the Gers with interest in him understandably high among clubs in England and elsewhere in Europe.
It would be a shame to see him leave without getting the huge Ibrox send-off that he has thoroughly earned during his time here but if his last act as a Rangers player is to mix it with supporters at the club’s biggest game in more than a decade, then we could probably live with that, especially if he’s seen swinging his shirt around his head while sat in someone’s shoulders.
In other Rangers news, this 20-year-old who has never played for the Light Blues has left to return home.
