Spanish authorities step up efforts for Rangers fans without tickets for Europa League final v Eintracht Frankfurt

Finance expert Kieran Maguire saw the local authorities in Seville set up giant screens for Rangers fans travelling without a ticket.

Gers could win their first European title in 50 years when they take on the German side in the Europa League final on Thursday.

While all cannot get into the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, they will be able to view it on the large screens in the 57,000 capacity Estadio de La Cartuja.

Via his personal Twitter account, Maguire shared an image and wrote, “Looks as if the authorities are setting up giant screens in the 57,000 capacity Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville for Rangers and Frankfurt fans who are without tickets for the match.”

Fantastic

This should encourage fans to travel to Seville and watch the game with equally passionate Gers supporters in Spain.

It doesn’t matter if they’re not in the stadium the game is going on as long as the atmosphere generated is the same like it would be there.

It’s also understood that Frankfurt have a significantly smaller fanbase and this setup is solely for Rangers fans.

So, this game could, in many ways, feel like it’s being played at Ibrox.

Of course, in the main stadium, the tickets are split between both teams but we know for a fact that the Scottish fans are significantly louder than their German counterparts.

We’re hoping for a cracking game between two sides that deserve to be there and we cannot wait for the action to unfold in this mega finale.

In other Rangers news, the club are ‘not convinced’ by a key first-team player and an early termination of his contract is extremely likely.
